Your email address and your GTrack account
To use GTrack you confirm an email address. This creates a free GTrack account with our authentication and database provider (Supabase). We store your email address, when it was verified, and when you first and last opened the app. We use it to let you in, to restore GTrack Plus if you buy it, and to send emails you ask for (sign-in links and codes, and purchase receipts). These account emails are not marketing and are sent only when needed for your account.
The page sets a small, secure cookie on gtrack.info after you verify, so the server knows this browser may open the app. It contains a random account ID and an expiry date, not your email. Signing out removes it.
Optional weekly email (marketing)
Your holdings stay on your device
The shares, prices, dates and fees you enter are saved in this browser's local storage. Confirming your email does not upload them. They don't sync to other devices, and clearing your browser data deletes them. Use "Download a copy of my holdings" to keep a backup file; it stays with you.
With GTrack Plus you can choose to copy holdings to your account so they're backed up and available on your other devices. Nothing is copied unless you tap the button to do it.
Payments (GTrack Plus)
Payments are handled by PayMongo on its own secure checkout page. GTrack never sees or stores card numbers or wallet credentials. We keep a purchase record: an order number, PayMongo's checkout, payment and refund IDs, the amount (₱99.00), status, dates, and processing fees if PayMongo reports them.
Deleting your data
Delete account (Account → Delete account) removes your login, your access record, your marketing preference record and the holdings stored in your account. Purchase records are kept without your email or account link, because payment records may need to be retained for accounting, tax and dispute purposes. If you subscribed to the weekly email, unsubscribe with the link in any update email (or ask us) to remove your address from the mailing list. Holdings saved on your device are separate: remove them with "Sign out" and the option to remove holdings on this device, or by clearing your browser data.
Exchange rates
When "View in another currency" is on, your browser downloads public exchange-rate files from jsDelivr (a content network). The request includes the currencies and the purchase date, not your holdings or amounts.

Netlify (hosting), Supabase (accounts and database; sends sign-in emails through the email service configured for it), PayMongo (payments). Each processes data only to provide its service to GTrack.
